New York City-- Manhattan Scientifics Inc. (Pink Sheets: MHTX) is pleased to announce that Emmanuel (Manny) Tsoupanarias has been named as the company Chief Executive Officer effective November 1, 2007. Tsoupanarias brings to Manhattan Scientifics more than 15 years of senior management and executive experience in the power generation manufacturing sector.

Tsoupanarias has spent over a decade designing and running a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant producing highest quality standard materials for the power and the nuclear industries.

Tsoupanarias is also the founder and editor of FuelCellWorks.com, a weekly trade publication that has become the voice of the fuel cell industry. Tsoupanarias is internationally recognized as an expert in fuel cell development.

Tsoupanarias, said, “I am excited to lead Manhattan Scientifics during this exciting new phase in its development. The company has recently purchased an overhanging block of 43 million shares and is preparing to file all of its past due SEC reports so that the stock can be eligible for trading on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board.
